Seeing something strange. I have a dual workstation configuration at work, and the PC I usually use (the faster one) keeps displaying "Fixing..." when I navigate to Hardforum. The secondary, the one I'm on now, works fine.

Is there some sort of voodoo maintenance going on right now that's turning away my other rig? Is it possible my security folks don't like me browsing Hardforum on my breaks and blocked it for that one PC?

For troubleshooting, I cleared my cache, cookies, and performed a DNS flush. Using IE 6.0.2800.1106 on both.

I just ran into this problem, it appears to be something with google chrome for me. On the same computer, If I come here on chrome, it says Fixing... Open up firefox and I can get here just fine.

Have cleared cache, cookies, etc.

/edit just looked at my desktop and both chrome / firefox work. Very strange

Hm, no go. Still see the "Fixing" page on my other workstation. I can login, view PMs, but can't see the index. Says vBulletin Message "Fixing" right in the middle.

Clear your cache and cookies and log back on. You are most likely viewing a cached version.

This keeps happening to me too. I've tried clearing cookies, history and such.

Sometimes putting in hardforum.com works while www.hardforum.com doesn't and vice-versa. Its been doing this for over a day now, flaking out every few minutes.

I'm also having this issue. Sometimes my iPod works while desktop doesn't or vice versa. Any idea why?

I had this happen earlier today. I just refreshed a few times over 15 minutes or so and it was back. I did no clearing of any temporary browser stuff.

I don't think it is anything on the user end. Probably just a forum issue soon to be resolved.

...although it is annoying to finish typing a post, hit submit, and then see "Fixing..."

I think it's something more than that major, I'm still getting it here.

My guess is that one of the front end web servers still has that message turned on somehow ( or one of the front end proxy servers has it cached ). I can tell you that it's happening about every 3rd or 4th pageview for me, and I have certain measures in place to ensure that caching is not turned on.

its been happening for me the entire day. never had anything like this happen before. this came up during work, my laptop, my home desktop. i didnt clear anything like a few others mentioned, just refreshing works sometimes. hope this gets fixed soon :D

happens randomly to me also. I've cleared the cache' 5-6 times, still happening. I get the "fixing..." like other people

Flush your DNS. Seems that .205-.207 were having issues earlier today/yesterday. Only one that would work for me was .204.

The issue is so bad to the point my 2 [H]ardDCer polls got invalid votes (someone were able to cast multiple votes)... Let us know when this get fixed so I can rehost the poll.

I'm also seeing the problem when I click on "new posts" it's 9:41AM CST but it's only showing me back to about 8:23CST posts and back... I've clicked into threads and there are newer postings not displaying.

I came in here to see if something was going on, glad I'm not the only one seeing this.

Yes, same here as well (writing from Latvia, Europe).

Another problem I'm facing is that I can't compose/delete private messages ... which is PITA considering I'm in the middle of two transactions over here right now...

I can only see myself online in both FF3 and IE7, there is something wacky going on...and the forum-lists don't get updated.

Same here - quoting is not working either. Posted a new thread in DC - I can get to it and edit it but it does not show and the forums show me as the only use online.

The forum is experiencing some problems at the moment...post are not updating. It's being addressed.
