Yesterday i contacted EA:s support in the hope that i could weasel my way into an Battlefield 3 Alpha account.. wich ofcourse didnt work :p but i found the conversation i had with the support quite funny and thougt id share it with you guys =)

I'm not sure why you're bashing EA. They did nothing of note that requires any criticism in that conversation. The only thing I see is an overabundance of patience. Guess my funny bone isn't working as well the older I get. /shrug

Same here. I was banging my head on my desk (quite literally actually, it hurt) yesterday when someone I follow on Twitter linked to a poorly written game article. Poorly written game articles are a dime a dozen, but this one was beyond bad. I can rant, I can rant a lot and extremely well. I couldn't even begin to start ranting it was so bad.
 
ouch the hate! well.. to start im non-english speaking so that might hurt my spelling a bit and if u take this so seriously u actually hurt urselves then im sorry *i guess?* the thing i was pointing towards was the fact that she/he/it repeatedly claimed that the claim that status and newsletter and such did not affect the invite was a lie when it clearly states that it isnt on the official blog :p i have no grief other then that since she treated me very nice and friendly on a stupid request that was just a waste of her time :p

It's not the content of the support request, it's the presentation of the request. You do, seriously, come off like a tween tard. I call bullshit on the ESL portion though.

I had an equally vicious response in mind when I first saw this thread, though it looks like there is no need for it now. Things are well in hand...
 
As bad as the OP's linguistic skills are, EA's support still sucks. I've spent about an hour and a half now with two different representatives, and neither has been able to help me in the slightest. They speak in broken English and don't seem to read what I say, because they keep repeating themselves.

Hell, I'm Norwegian but I still bother trying to write proper English! English as second language is not excuses for sloppy-ass tween typing. You make us Scandinavians look like morons. Maybe all those Swede jokes we have are true..

on the bright side i got a code and the game is awesome , i don't even know how i got the invite to beta as i barely play BFBC2 LOL.

Sorry, but this is the funniest thing if true, given no invite showed up. Frank rocks :-p

This thread is actually quite brilliant.

The OP decided to troll EA customer service, the customer service rep didn't fall for it, then the OP tries to troll [H] and ends up getting trolled by Kyle.

All in all, a successful endeavor.

Agreed, feeling the shared sense of shame here in Finland too, so let's make that cover all Nordic countries! :)

And I clicked this thread because I misread the subject as "Fixed: I don't have a glue", and thought it would be about some kind of new genre construction game. :D
