How would you hook up a DVD burner, CD Burner, CD drive, and two hard drives to a motherboard with 2 ATA connectors?
 
you wouldn't with out an extra controller card.....and not sure you would then.....why two burners? TheDVD does both......... :confused:...and both burners will function as a cd?????
 
Yeah you are going to need an IDE controller card, and more than likely RAID cards are going to be the cheapest if you actually want to use that setup.

That is one of the limitation of the current IDE PATA standards, One master and one slave per controller.
 
Old usb is slow though, not always the best option for dealing with discs be it cd-rom or harddrives.
