Hey Everyone!
I'm brand new to OCing, I love this website and the website always has great advice and reviews for upgrades etc.
Thermaltake Armor LCS Liquid Cooling System
Asus P5N32-E SLI Motherboard BIOS 1201
X6800 Intel Core 2 Duo CPU
2GB Team Xtreme PC-6400 800mhz RAM
BFG 8800 GTX Ultra OC Video Card
Soundblaster X-FI Xtreme Music PCI Soundcard
Ageia PhysX 128MB PCI card
Windows Vista Ultimate x86 with all updates
I would like some help achieving a STABLE overclock with this system. I've messed around a little bit, (YES, I ALREADY READ THE GUIDE) and I don't get anywhere.
Windows locks up, and Oblivion frequently crashes, but not when I'm running stock.
Annoying.
I'm looking to overclock my system, MANUALLY, not using the Asus OC crap, included in th Bios settings.
If someone could provide a step by step guide with numbers and figures, bios settings etc,
besides "up/down the multipiler" etc.....I would really appreciate it, because I should be able to achieve better performance with this system.
Cheers!
