First Person Tetris

I made it to lvl 6 on my first try... made my first mistake on lvl 4.

Kinda trippy but cool.

And since it won't let me edit my post for some reason....

Here is a page that has a .swf downloader and a .swf player so you can play the file locally.

http://www.browsertools.net/downloads1.html

And it won't let me edit it again.... in any case, the ofline players seem to not work completely properly with this game as once you get up to a certsain line the bricks don't lock in place anymore and the next block never drops.

On second thought.. it looks like you would need to download the whole page as it doesn't work by itself in Ie either.... prolly some JS stuff that is needed or possibly a bug in the game that needs fixing.

i got to level 3 too, amazing on how regular tetris i can get to 9 easy and this is quite a bit lower i think there is quite a bit of a learning curve.

At first I was like "meh, just ordinary tetris" but as soon as I tried to flip the piece, I was like "WTF?".

It was fun for a while.

That was my reaction as well... even when it rotated, I still couldn't figure it out at first. :)

That was awesome! Did anyone have trouble adapting to the direction changes on the keys? I didn't have any trouble there. The rolling sensation was like rolling during flight, except only in one direction. Quite fun though!

Haha, I thought it was just another retro Tetris emulator.. Then I hit rotate.

Night mode is tough. Had to purposefully place pieces on the sides so I knew how far across I had to go.

why an "offline player"? works just fine if you open the swf in a browser

Wow that'll twist you up,

Funny, I've got that console and the original versions of Tetris, Golf, Mario Bros, and Marble Madness, haven't played it in years,

had to pull it out just for fun, was great for awhile but quickly got boring,

Because once you get up to a certain line in the game, the blocks don't lock in place anymore and it never gives you the next block.... same thing happens in IE8.

My first mistake was to treat this as Tetris and focus on the puzzle. Once I went into FPS-mode and focused on each piece, it went much more smoothly.
