First Gaming Rig

My current system:

Dell Demension 4600
Pentium 4 2.66 GHz
ATi Radeon x700 256 AGP
2 gigs of unknown ram
79gb HardDrive

My power supply is a 200 watt which isnt even powerful enough for my graphics card which is why i think it and my graphics card blew out a sepperate time which were replaced. So yeah im in desperate need of a new computer and i had it all figured out until someone told me to wait for Penryn. So, how much will the penryn cost, is it worth waiting for, and if i decide to go with the setup im about to post, what gfx card should i buy, the 2900pro 512mb or the 8800gts 320mb.

Also if i decide to go with the system im about to post im going to buy the Antec 900 tonight since its on sale till the end of tonight i believe for like 40 bucks off.

Go with the 8800GTS 320mb unless you plan on gaming above 1280x1024 resolutions.

I think the 2900Pro is a good deal all around. Its roughly the same price as the 8800GTS320 isn't it?

Otherwise, everything is fine.

And try and do something different with the Antec 900. Like red fans. That'd be cool.

- What size monitor do you have?
- Will you be overclocking?

I say ditch the 2900Pro and get the 8800GTS 320MB since the 2900Pros are now overpriced and OOS in some places. I also recommend getting an SATA DVD burner for a cleaner case:
