:D :D

Finally got one! Eat that! And I had like, my entire network crunching on GB Gromacs before (which aren't really big PPD'ers at 118 point units, I had like 5, laptop is finishing one). Now my dually 2200+ has two Ambers (which seem to be giving then their highest PPD yet) and my main desktop FINALLY snagged a D Gromacs, all 686 points. Now if I can keep getting all of these units....I had to shutdown my 1.4GHz folder (Early Ends, I think it needs a better heatsink :() and my PPD is back to where it was when my P4 had QMD's, so I definately know the strong units now. Now if my P4 could get them too, I'd be golden.

Full Folding Ahead!

Nice , I want a few :(

I woke up this morning to see all 6 cores on my home boxen crunching on 188point GbGromacs.... I checked again before I went to work, and one box had picked up a HUGE double Gro....

Keep on Folding!! For the [H]orde!!

I've got a 468 point one,a 604 point one, a 722 point one & a 1112 pointer.
That out of 12 cores running at the moment.
The rest are 1 small Gromac, 1 Amber & 6 GbGromacs.
Not bad after that run of 188 pointer GbGromacs.

Luck.............. :D

Yeah, those were 188 pointers, not 118. ;) My bad. But I had like my entire network swamped with them yesterday. I just want some bigger WU's for my P4 3.2C. :( Oh, and I hit 1,000WU's the other day and totally missed that too. :p

Full Folding Ahead!

Does this mean that we're coming out of the never-ending string of low-point WUs?

No.

My last 3 Work Units have all been Small Gromacs worth 115/130/145 points.

It gets frustrating when you havea box that can do well over 600 PpD and it chugs along at ~250 PpD.

Luck........ :D

Yeah...i just got two Double Gromacs worth 667 today on two of my machines after about a week of nuthin but 56-188 pointers. so YEAAAAA :D

Hmmm. I don't like them much myself. My Athlon XPs don't crunch them all that fast, and my P3-850 is slower than balls on it. I'd much rather have 600ptrs all the time myself.

I had some time per frame problems on em3, so I can't tell the PPD right now on these units. A P3-850 should never get a 722 pointer, even thought It will still finish on time.

Yey, I got 2 more. :) 589 pointer on my 3.2C and a 604 pointer on my laptop. And what's nice is DGromacs don't use nearly as much RAM (like 25MB). :D

Full Folding Ahead!

I snagged a 587 point DGromac on the rig in my sig after it sent back a 364 pointer. It's running about 200 PPD which is about the same as tinkers but nowhere near the 300 PPD the 364 pointers put out.

My PIII 600 Foldix box keeps grabbing 188 point Ambers and is chugging along at about 30 PPD.

I have the PIII 800 setup for timeless tinkers and it's crunching along at 42 PPD.

I just wish I could get some of these DGromacs on my P4 2.8 at work. From the sounds of things, it would chew through them rather well. Probably better than the GbGromacs it's been getting.

I've got a p2390 worth 1,112 points and a p2391 worth 592 points on my X2 and EMIII is reporting 257.7 and 258.8 points per day respectively.
That's about 5.5 points per Ghz per hour.
Not bad for a $270 mb/CPU combo.

Well Ive been crunching the same Amber cores for the past 4 days. Id dump the p1808 then get a p1909 and, then back to the 08. Now Im on the 1850 core. I cant complain the are atleast ove the 150 point mark but, it would be nice to get some larger point WUs. Atleast Im not getting the 45 pointers lately. :D

I also just got a double gromacs core (that EMIII reports is worth 1112) on one of the instances I have running on my HT P4.
Is that correct?
The other double gromacs core on the other instance is only worth 592 points.

They are going to take 216 and 116 hours to complete.

It all depends on what boost you can run on how well the DGromacs fold.

p2383 folds at 58:44 per frame on my MP@2.1 Ghz under SSE boost.
p2383 folds at 19:24 per frame on my X2@2.3 Ghz under SSE2 boost.

So under SSE2 boost you get ~2.5x more PpD.

Luck......... :D

My dad's P4 finished a double gromacs yesterday....722 points of goodness :D and some other machine I borged finished a WU aroudn the same time (nto sure which one) so total points for the 10 pm update yesterday was :D, almost 11,000
