My buddy is looking to build his first gaming computer.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming SC2, BF3, web browsing
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$700 No and no
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
Michigan, Microcenter sub 20 miles.
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc.
CPU, MB, Ram, HDD, DVD drive, GPU, PSU, Case,, keyboard and mouse.
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Nothing.
6) Will you be overclocking?
No
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1440x900 19 ws"
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Within a month
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
SLI would be nice for later down the road and SATA 6gb
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Win 7 64bit Pro

Keyboad and mouse arent really a big deal. He is kinda stuck on a i5 build but without actually looking im thinking it might not be in the budget with him needing everything.

Thank you. After a little searching I found a old 19 LCD he can have either that or he says he will use his 32" tv.

If that's the case, then swap out the i3-2100 for

$209.99 - Intel Core i5-3550

If you get it before the end of 8/15 then use promo code EMCNBNA39 to get an additional $10 off. Since you wont be needing an LCD. No point really in upgrading the GPU, since at the resolution he'll be playing at wont notice much of a difference with a faster GPU.
