So I came back from a weekend trip on Sunday and had one of those e-mail promotions from Newegg in my inbox. The e-mail specials started on Saturday and said that they were good through the weekend. I tried to use one of the codes on Sunday and it would not work. So I e-mailed Newegg to ask what was up and they said that the deal had expired and was only good for the weekend. So I what I pulled out of the experience was that Sunday is not considered part of the weekend in India. ;) Too bad first time they failed for me.

I got the same email and it had two sets of codes: one set was valid for 24 hours the other for 48 hours. Did you try to use one from the 24 hour only sale?

Next time your India and you want to order something from the US remember you are a day and half ahead (depending on which time zone your from)

India has nothing to do with it. Newegg ships from CA and NJ in my experience, and I'm pretty sure their ops are in CA.

What is it here in the US when its Sunday in India?

New Egg runs on Pacific Time (US). This can work to your advantage, especially with rebates. Usually a rebate will jack the price up. If you time it right on the east coast, you can get the lower price AND the rebate.
