After buying and returning about 15 monitors from bestbuy and microcenter and debating buying a benq for awhile... I just ordered the G2400WD from buy.com for 355 2nd day shipped. Hope I wont be dissapointed in this one as well :)

Wow, dude. 15 returned monitors!!! Did you read any reviews first or were you just randomly clicking "Buy it Now" and hoping for the best?

I read reviews. out of the 15. 3 were returned for dead pixel/stuck, I would of kept a soyo had not been for dead pixel. the other 12 or so all had horrible backlight bleeding and that of all thing annoys the sheet outta me.

I reviewed em all. I have a link to my reviews somewhere. see if I can find it. No expert by chance just a reg dude :p

yeah, with the 15 monitors, i bought and returned bfg 260, visiontek 3870, 4870 to best buy. Lucky for me though i pretty much got the same 2 people at Bestbuy and they both are nice ( even plan on writign to the store and telling them about there good employees since I'm sure they could use some recognition) And dealt with the same 3 people at microcenter.

I had a manager try and stop me on my 3rd return of a Samsung 2232bw+ and he tried to BS me into keeping the monitor because it wasnt 'defective' a quick call to the regional manager got me out the door with a smile ( since it doesnt state anything like that in their return policy)

My girlfriend thinks im nuts, at one point we had 4 monitors in our little condo.

Congrats, man. I bought the same a week n' a half or so ago from the BenQ store--mine did have a stuck pixel--so I sent it back to be replaced. The display itself was awesome--the pixel was just in too noticable a place to have kept it.

Well, Rydawg5143, if you want to do this, then I respect your choice, but you are just dealing with TN LCDs, so don't expect top quality, especially with the homogenity of the backlight.
You want something super? Go and buy NEC 2490 ;)

I can relate.

I have gone through close to 10 myself, just from more stores than that, so I didn't build a reputation that preceded me :) Good luck with the G2400WD. I think you should enjoy it.

My wife thinks I'm nuts too.
