Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
it's been over 4 years, I've seen folders come, pass me, and quit (or be made to quit for one reason or another). I'll just keep quietly chugging along for now.
I agree with a lot of the posters that say the required pernts accumulation to get in the top 100 has steadily gotten higher So it's probably not too wise to set up homesteading unless you're one of the "heavy duty" folders (you know like 1 thru 10)
you are about one of 4 or 5 threats that I currently have. Even at full production you were coming at a 10KPPD gain compaired to me. But as it would seem, you stepped it up a notch or two, and have 24KPPD over my full speed.
When I get back from my trip, I'm bringing my rig back up to full production. I scaled back about 4-5KPPD on my main rig, so I didn't cook anything while I was away for a while. The SWMBO doesn't need the headaches of trying to keep my machine running at full production while I'm gone.
That and I lost my Win7 install about two days before I left. Rather than re-install, I just booted the vista install on that machine and did enough tweaking to make it work while I was gone, but not fully maximize everything. Along with dropping clock speeds by a fair margin.
I'm still working at breaking it. I was at 100 for a couple weeks, just had to rebuild my main box and reinstalling stuff now. Need more "D". Great job.
