I am now in the top 100 of our folding team. I'm averaging over 3,000 points a day!!! This is awesome. I recently put two core 2 duo machines online and they seem to have really boosted my production considerably.
 
Overclocked C2D does raise production substantially. I went from about 400 PPD to about 1400 PPD because of the rig in my sig. That was also with the loss of 2Ghz of AMD that went out the door when I built this system. They are figgin' folding monsters, especially with the SMP client.

 
Quality. I'll be in the top 150 in a few more days, and I'm eyeballing the top 100, but it'll take a while..

Couple weeks ago there were 35ppl outproducing me, thats down to 8 now.... hope my additions/borgs keep up.

Helping, competition, wanting to do something with your hardware, you had someone you know who recently died of a disease that they're researching, etc. etc. It's different for everyone although why the threadhijack?
 
Welcome to the "club" - I made it not too long ago. Pretty "elite" group being in the to 100. Good job!

 
I'm number 98 now:) I had to shut down one of my core 2 duos today though:-(...but I added a pentium 4, celeron and athlon dual core processor to make up for it I hope.
