i wouldnt go dell unless you totally have no idea at all about computers or want a warrenty (not sure if your building or buying from someplace like monarch)

rig1
seems that most people are saying for next gen the gfx card you have chosen wont preform aswell..

if your gonna overclock id go with the dfi lanparty series..

RiG2
2x6800gt's wont go into much use in todays games, overkill, one will do good on all games today

I think you should go with a 6800gt, and a 4000+ or get one of the newer cores comming out..

I would get Rig 1 with a different motherboard

why this is bad motherboard? or it would provide a decrease in performce with the x850?

wow you people really don't like dell. 1 Vote. Just wondring is it couse you had a bad expreince with it? Im not buying on couse I have on right now and well Im interested to try something new like the amd rig but was wondering.

I forgot to add: It will work, however you can't stick another ati in there and expect it to work..You can however buy 2 nvidia cards later and run SLI, and trash the x850..

Personally I would go for a non-SLI and get a tricked out HIS x8XX series card.

Dell Sux.
Agreed. Stay away from their PC's, trust me. You don't want to be stuck with their proprietary non-upgradeable crap.

And 2 6800GT's >>> 1 X850XT PE. Total rape and 0wnage. ;)

you can always SLI that bitch when you need more power for cheaper, and you will still have the kick ass CPU always.

EDIT: Get #1 with a 6800something PCI-e

rig 1.. get a non SLI motherboard.. maybe an MSI one.. I would never get SLI, doesn't work with everything and it is too expensive. use the money saved to get a raptor for your system/software drive

I decided to get this baby:

nice specs. But I cannot by from them as they are worse then dell. I know some people who bought some systems from them that just flat out broke in a short amount of time and I just don't have time in all to contact techical support and play the sending game.LOL

Yeah...Thats fine..If i had the extra money I would buy from ABS, but just showing another deal here of what is possible.

btw: my computer is still working, I also take care of it ;)

It is true though, they don't have support..

Yea but if I buy that system from newegg will it come with 1 year you think also. Couse if I buy direct from abs I get 1 year...hmmm I need warrenty! i don't want to end up with a broken down pc I cannot fix or I break.

shit why is it everytime I think of warrenty I think of dell ...LOL ;) all the hate....

Just buy it from ABS directly and pay the extra $100 or so..

or maybe I should go with the xps gen 4......... of course nothing is a match for the amd...but I don't plan on modding/upgrading.. i could play d3 with high 55 fbs.hmmm  this is so frustrating as I want to make purchase today.

If you game, you should not even be having second-thoughts about the AMD, Intel thing.
The Dell is just a trick, the ABS is actually built for gamers.

A trick that has raptors in it and a x850 xt pe......

it's so hard to choose...... the 3.6 overall still would do good for gaming....

have you ever had a g4 xps to tell me that it was bad for gaming wit the same specs I choose?

what happend to xps people.... i mean there must be some forum members that have experianced an xps that could tell me about it.....

the dell forum people who had it tell it was good

I'm starting to think this is a joke...I can't believe I bit.. :(

If you want to find out which system to get you don't go to the manufacturers forums...You came here, the people delivered. Dell Sux.

-Done.

2, dont do anything dell for sure..

id go with 2, next gen games will still be beastly on it..

What I want to know is where are you getting those prices?

Here is what *I* would do in that price range..

slirig.jpg

I noticed you didn't include the case so I picked out a good one for you. You take that out, it comes in well under $2000.

I have included a case. IT is with the link of the pc on newegg. And iwant a prebuilt pc and not that but yea thanks

right now im stuck between the abs and dell.

I would of gotten a 3200+ Venice or 3700+ San Diego, a DFI NF4 Ultra-D or SLI-D, and an ATI X800XL or a single nVidia 6800GT.

There was no benefit to going with the 4000+ unless you dont overclock. The 3200+ Venice is cheaper and easily capable of the same speeds that 3500+ will hit. The DFI boards are MUCH better overclockers and tweakers then ASUS boards and you'll get alot better support for them. New video cards will be released soon by nVidia and ATI and spending alot of money on current generation cards is a waste. An X800XL or 6800GT is plenty fast.
