I'm about to pull the trigger on ordering the following:

Asus Maximus Gene III mATX = $159.99 ($139.99 AMIR) - 10% Coupon
Intel Core i5 760 = $208.99
Corsair H50 = $79.99 ($69.99 AMIR)
Arctic Silver 5 = $9.99
2x2GB OCZ Reaper DDR3 1600 = $89.99 ($69.99 AMIR)
Asus Radeon HD 6870 1GB = $239.99
Corsair CMPSU-620HX 620w = $99.99
Western Digital Black Caviar 1TB = $89.99

Shipping = $17.87

Total = $980.79 Shipped ($930.79 AMIR)

All of this is going to be put into a Antec P180 Mini and is going to be overclocked. Aiming for a 4 GHz+ overclock on the i5 760 and 1000 MHz+ overclock on the 6870's core. All of it is color themed based as well (Black and Red) so I don't want to change too much. I want this to be my LAN rig as well so I'm going to spend a lot of time on it to make it look perfect inside.

So overall, do you guys think this would be a good build to game at 1920x1080 and a relatively decent jump from the system in my sig?

It's gonna be a jump but I don't think it's gonna be that huge of a jump to justify upgrading the CPU, mobo, and RAM, even if you got a 4Ghz+ OC with the i5 750. In other words, you're better off holding off on the CPU+mobo+RAM for another half year to a year from now.

With that said, if you still want to go through with the CPU + mobo + RAM upgrade despite it not being a huge jump, at least get decent RAM. OCZ RAM is a bit more finicky and rated at higher voltages which makes it harder to OC with than other RAM sets. I recommend this RAM instead:
$75 - G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ 2 x 2GB DDR3 1600 RAM

The above G.Skill RAM is rated 1.5V which gives you plenty of overclocking headroom. That OCZ is rated at 1.65V which happens to be the max rated RAM voltage for Core i CPUs.

Onto the other parts:
- Ditch that WD Black 1TB drive. It's slower than this Samsung drive:
$70 - Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

- Ditch the Corsair 620HX. It's pretty old by PSU standards and there are updated and better quality designs for not that much more:
$116 - XFX P1-650X-CAG9 650W Modular PSU
$126 - Corsair 650HX 650W Modular PSU

- Ditch the AS5 and go with this thermal paste that has no curing time and performs a little better than AS5:
$10 - Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Compound
