Ferocious

Let us know
It's 20% off.So if it's good , I'll pick it up too
And it's not early access , it's an actual honest to god release
The reviews aren't good so far though
Jeez, yeah there's only 40 or so on Steam but they're not good at all. One though says it's like Turok and Far Cry 2 had a baby lol, which sounds like a pretty fun baby to me. Who knows, maybe some time in the skillet will get it there.

Reviews are starting to trend positive
Will pick this after the devs have patched it up

Looks quite fun but does anyone know where the dev is from? I tried looking up both omyog and tinybuild, but no info.

if it had coop I would be interested in this.

I love dinosaurs. Most dinosaur games tend to be poorly made but are often still fun. This seems like it fits that description. But I'm not into single player games unless they're extremely good.

Breakdown of the good and bad but overall does sound like a fun time if the "Far Cry meets Metro Exodus with dinosaurs" concept appeals to you. Apparently the game has already improved from its launch state. There's more to be done regarding the stealth AI and some bugginess, some of which is quite humorous, but it seems like the positive aspects definitely outweigh the negative ones. I especially like how brutal the shotguns are against the human enemies, lol. There aren't many other open world single player dino games so it sounds like an easy recommendation if you're good with a story mode that's on the shorter side (~12hr). Might be a fun little distraction when it goes on sale, especially with some more patches. Not bad for a mostly single-dev project!

Looks like a 15 year old game in some parts. I'm not saying it is, but it looks like an asset flip. If the gameplay itself is okay that is good.

It's made by a solo dev using the Unity Engine. I'm sure he's using a ton of assets from the marketplace. It's basically the only way to put this much content in as a solo dev, but the trade off is you don't get consistent quality or a cohesive art style.
