The FCC’s Tom Wheeler is still playing hardball with the cable industry, telling cable companies to basically get with the future of the broadband program and the needs of their subscribers. Wheeler delivered his message at the annual cable conference telling the companies that the times, they are a-changing, with apologies to Bob Dylan.
The Internet and Television Expo, Wheeler said the cable industry has reached a tipping point at which its broadband subscribers outnumber its pay TV subscribers.
