So I downloaded the demo right?

I click on the ICON on the desktop to play and this little message pops up:

"Sorry, but the license date not valid yet. It will become valid on 26-07-2005"

What gives?!
 
I just uninstalled and reinstalled the demo and the same message came up.
 
boy, do I feel stupid now - yes the time on my notebook was wrong, I fixed it and now the demo works.
 
I just finished playing the FEAR demo and I about peed my pants...twice...

once when the little girl was standing in front of me by the ladder and the second time, which I found to be even scarier, when I went down the ladder and shot the guy and the shots just made him disappear.

I'm still waiting for the price to come down a little, I think it's at $40 now at Walmart.
 
Ya know, surprisingly I bought it on release day. I still have not beat it. I DLed STEAM and have been playing old school HL and OpFor and Blue Shift and it's been monopolizing a lot of my spare time.
 
BUY IT, best 40 bucks youll ever spend on a game......Its awesome. I've played through 3 times now and its cool every time. :D
 
When I finally buy the game I will need to remember to play only at night with the surround sound up high to really get the mood right.

I want to be scared shitless.
 
I just started it and I have to say, so far I'm a bit dissapointed. Not only is it a resource beast, but I find many aspects of gameplay to be a bit "eh". I mean they could have taken more time on enemy development. The levels are pretty uninspiring. Probably the best aspect of it is the AI Intelligence. So far I've even found the story to be a bit "eh".

Supposedly it gets better at the end...we will see.
