Anyone else use these two? Ive been using them for a week now and so far they are pretty sweet. Took me a little bit to get used to the keyboard because the keys are a tiny bit closer together in comparison to my old keyboard but now its smooth sailing.

I like the fact that the Fatal1ty mouse is huge so I can grip it easier. I read some posts about how the thumb button on the side is hard to push but I can get at it just fine. My only gripe is that I don't play with three fingers on the buttons. My ring and pinky fingers are clutching the right side of the mouse while my thumb tucks in from the left. That leaves my index and middle finger to do the clicking. I go for the 3rd mouse button with my middle finger and sometimes I don't go to far and I end up tapping the right click and that has made me die a few times. So far thumbs up though.

You talking about the Creative mouse?

If so, I have a friend that bought one cause he didn't know better. It sucked for him.

To each his own I guess. I went from the MX310 which was awesome to the Copperhead because I got it for cheap and that sucked so much. I cant grip it easily.

I always thought the Fatal1ty mouse was a joke, it looks horrible and I thought the sensitivity adjustment was preset to only a few non-adjustable settings (~400, 800, 1600, 2000 or something). However the keyboard looked interesting as its slim and basic. Are the keyboard keys like laptop keys or are they like regular keys?

what is wrong with that for sensitivity adjustment? Does any mouse that doesn't allow you to adjust the sensitivity to 784.573 suck?

Thats one thing I love about the keyboard. They are exactly like laptop keys. I know that for a fact because one of my friends popped off one of her keys on her laptop and didn't know how to put it back on. I figured it out for her and I noticed that the mechanism under each one of the keys on the Fatal1ty keyboard are the same thing as the ones on the laptop. I popped off the B key just to confirm and it was :p

The one thing I miss about the old keyboard is my volume adjustment and quick access to Thunderbird and Firefox. I got over it quickly because I just threw two icons into my ObjectDock and I am now using the remote control which came with my sound card haha!

I have a fatal1ty mouse - it's sitting in my closet collecting dust with my wireless keyboard and mouse. I'll stick to my Razer Diamondback and Tarantula

The Fatali1ty keyboard is a re-branded Eluminx, which is my favorite keyboard of all time (and I've been through more than a few). The mouse, on the other hand, is pretty shoddy. I too have one sitting in a closet collecting dust ;)

The fatality mouse is pretty nice... until it starts crapping out on you.

Count on that to happen in 1-3 months.

Thats exactly what happened with mine. Not only did I have to fudge around with my USB mhz, but it started double clicking about a month in.

The ONLY thing I got with that dudes name on it was the X-fi FPS sound card. The keyboard looks ok but I wouldn't get it just cus his name ia on it lol. I have issues, I know. I got the soundcard for the quality of the product & I caught a good sale on it here in NYC. The mousw blows though so I didn't even consider getting one of those.

Well the Logitech's G5/G7 allow you to preset 5 of your own DPI settings so for me I do something like 800, 1000, 1200, 1400,1600 because I'll never use something as low as 400 or as high as 2000. With my Razer Copperhead dpi is on a scale of 1-10 with .5 intervals. If you look at the Fatal1ty its like 400/800/1600/2000/2400 the sensitivity jumps are pretty big especially 800 to 1600 jump. So for me there maybe only two usable dpi settings (800 & 1600) on the Fatal1ty and they would be polar opposites of each other. So yes this part of it sux considering its a "1337" gaming mouse and it cost just as much as its competitors.
