Fastest scanner?

A client's office is trying to go paperless, so I'm trying to find the fastest scanner on the market... The software (Dentrix) has built-in image management, non-OCR, so basically I need a scanner that can scan an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper as quickly as possible. Not many web sites list this type of information as a spec (all are related to OCR or photo scanning-to-email). Any tips? B&W/grayscale is the major concern as these are all medical documents, and again, speed is the most important factor. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

Note: The goal is ~5 seconds per page or better if at all possible.

What your looking for is either a duplex or fastfeed scanner

My experience is with Xerox scanners (of the favor made 10 years ago!) so i cant vouch for any of these but here is some linkage at the egg anyway:
