Fastest build time?

I did my last one in about 30 seconds or so... only took that long cause I had to find somehting to cut the tape off the box. Damn dells at work :p

my roomate installed Windows XP Pro in less than 10 minutes

I installed Windows XP Pro from beginning to end in 9 min 42 sec with my new A64. And did a SP1 update from beginning to end in 1min37sec..... I love my A64, it is so fast :D :cool:

Ditto. It sickens me to see friend's machines that consist of a giant wire jungle and no ventilation whatsoever. I usually raid the machine, clean it up, and make it run better whenever I can get my hands on it. :p From taking everything out of the boxes to seeing the desktop, it might take an hour or two. I then spend a lot of time tweaking the OS, installing drivers, etc.
 
10 - 15 minutes, as long as the thermal paste application goes smooth. I spend a lot of time trying to make that perfect. I clip along when I'm handling anything else. This really isn't tough if you have onboard everything either ;)
