Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Is there anyone who sells this or a clone of this as a bare case? I just want the case to build my own SFF on, or are there any known SFF cases that natively support ATX PSU's (I have a PCP&C 510W to go in it )
Might wanna ask this in the SFF forums instead of the Case Modding ones. probably a quicker response.
Edit: Ooops, or not, hehe... Some responses supplied in the time it took me to flip thru tabs as I read all the threads I had opened. Regardless, [H]F does have a Small Form Factor section on the boards, they're probably more knowledeable there though.
I was about 50-50 on which forum to place this question. I figure the modders look at EVERY case under the sun, and the SFF peeps are a smaller crowd.
Yes, I was referring to the Fraggbox 2- I should have been a bit more clear. I am really surprised that no one makes a small case that will use ATX power?!?!
MODS- if this should be elsewhere, please move it. Thank you.
Have you looked at the FIC Condor or Antec's umm.. I forget the name of theirs. Not sure if they acommodate a full size ATX PSU (I think the Antec does for sure) but they're amongst the larges SFFs. I've seen some very similar variations of the FB2 but mostly from other OEMs themselves.
Checking the Condor now.....
From Antec, did you mean the Aria?
OK, the Condor uses an SFX PSU. WHat is that? Looks plausible otherwise- wish it was Socket A.
As near as I can tell, the Antec uses a proprietary PSU, but will allow me to pick my own board (like the MSI Model#: K7N2GM2-LSR ). It also looks better IMO.
EDIT: N/M on the SFX, it's what most refer to as the mATX PSU standard.
Yeah the Aria, seen people mod them to fit full size PSUs... Didn't realize neither take them in natively when I posted. Tough one to find one that takes standard PSUs...
