Hey guys, i have 3 monitors one of them is plugged in through dvi, the other hdmi and the last one is a vga to dvi converter. Its not reading my vga monitor am i doing something wrong i read about some DP active add on but is there a way to make 3 of them work without it?

You can only use 2 DVI's or 1 DVI and 1 HDMI. HDMI draws power from one of the DVI ports.

You need an active DP to DVI adapter. You can get single link ones for 1920x1080 resolution really cheap online.

oh ok that is def something that should be on the box or something probably is but, you would think with all those ports it would be just plug and play damn. Thank you Nick

Yes, but you can also get an active dvi to displayport for around the same price.

yes, though an active single link DVI adaptor should only run 6usd more, so I'd get that, instead :)
