Eyefinity flickering with a EAH5870

Yep, pretty common issue. One of the reasons I ended up going to nvidia . Try turning off overdrive in ccc. Using the 10.4 drivers also worked for me.

Dude, so far so good, Played Black OPs for about 30 mins and no flickering. I turned Overdrive off and that might have been the issue.

So which do you prefer to run, MSI AB, CCC, or Asus Smart doctor?

And since I have to turn CCC off to stop the flickering, what should I use to OC my card?

as soon as Nvidia creates a card that can push 3 monitors and has a DP, Im going back.

That happens with overdrive it interferes with the memory clock speed. Basically flickering happens when the clock speed for the memory changes. Turn off overdrive and just run the card as it was intended and turn off gpu acceleration in flash. Just ignore that other dude he's probably ok with a gtx 480 idling at 90c with two monitors.

just disable GPU flash. It doesn't have any usefullness, outside of nettops and netbooks, IMO.

That's crazy.
Changing frequency at that speed can't be safe for the card. What is that, 3+ adjustments per second?

Ok, I feel like a moron, how do you turn GPU Accel off in Flash?

Well.... by no means am I a nvidia fan boy if that's what your implying. as you can see from my sig that I own both flavors. and actually both are pretty good. but I wont run my crossfire with 3 monitors any more because i actually like to enjoy my games rather that chase down issues all night long.

I don't blame you,, look at what I posted.. I shouldn't be having these issues..

but damn dude, 3xU2410, those are IPS panels that sell for 599.99, holy shit!! did you win the lottery or you make 110K a year1!??! lol.

Well turning CCC OD off worked. no more flickering during the screensaver or web browsing, however the bottom half of the center monitor flickers some during gameplay on Black OPs

No flickering during MW II MP, so I might try roll back to 10.4 tomorrow. Thanks for all of the insight from everyone

i have that setup, costed me $1500. $400 for 1 u2410 then picked up 2 u2410s last week for $1100. But then again, I'm single and don't have to worry about paying other peoples bills.
