my question is this...
i have my desktop at 5760x1200 in eyefinity. no problems.
now id like to do 2 more things which would make my setup perfect for what i want.

first. be able to make a profile that turns the screens into extended mode, so i can maximize windows when surfing and have 3 full windows open without screwing around.
i would also like to be able to make a profile with just the center screen on at 1900x1200, having the side screens drop into power save mode, so i can play older games witout having to keep turning the side screens off all the time.

now. it would be nice to be able to acess the profiles through the ati (or other) icon on the rightside taskbar. just choose the one you want and bingo. (Eyefinity, extended, single) it seems in ccc you can only make one group and thats it. ive tried making other profiles but it just seems to change the way the display is without making it possible to change back to the previous setting without redoing the whole setup. it would make more sense to me to be able to customize your desktop the way you need it. anyone able to do this? im using the 10.2 driver package. any help would be appreciated.

I've been doing this since 10.1s. I didn't have any problems setting it up. For eyefinity (which I only use for gaming), I got everything the way I wanted it, went to the profile manager, and saved a profile with the "save all CCC settings" box checked. Then I changed everything back to extended desktop, re-arranged the screens and saved a new profile with the "save all CCC settings" box checked. I gave each profile a hotkey so I can switch between them with ease.

thanks for the response. i just tried to do this again and found that i was able to do the eyefinity /extended desktop profiles and can now switch between them via the ati icon. i had to recreate the profiles a few times and screw around quite a bit with the primary/duplicate screens to get them oriented the right way...but it seems to be good now. i knew there had to be a way. thanks again.

any chance i can make a profile with just the center screen on and the side screens would go into powersave mode ? thats probly asking too much i know. the way i have it now is lightyears ahead of having eyefinity on 24/7....i was getting so tired of windows autostretching across 3 friggin screens. i felt like a cat chasing a flashlight sometimes.

Ultramon might be able to do that (Windows can't); I know it has per monitor screensaver settings. In any case, you ought to try ultramon simply for the individual taskbars for each monitor in extended desktop mode.

If you want just the center screen enabled with the other 2 in standby, why not just make a 3rd CCC profile with the side 2 monitors disabled?
