I'm debating on going 570 or 6950 sli/crossfire and one question I have I haven't found a concise answer too.

If I X-fire a set of ATi cards can I use 3 DVI connectors without a displayport adapter like I do in sli...i.e. two dvi on card one and the third dvi comming off card two?
 
Short answer, no.

Long answer, you can run three DVI, but you will need a miniDisplay port to DVI adapter. Display connections will all come off one card in ATI land. Eyefinity requires a DisplayPort connection in the mix.
 
Is there a 120Hz rated displayport adapter you know of? I could care less about the 3d crap but I like the smoothness of 120Hz.
