I've got 3 dell 2209WAs, 1 (center) hooked up over DVI and the other two are hooked up over VGA with adapters (I have an eyefinity 6 card). In landscape I have no tearing issues, but in portrait I get TONS of tearing even with Vsync on. Is there any way to stop the tearing?

not really.... try using all adaptors, since AMD still has lots of little issues with Eyefinity setups (including one weird 120Hz vsync bug).

specifically, a mixed set of connections (some on DVI, some on DP, etc) has been noted to have tearing issues, though normally only on the "less used" connection (i.e. DVI tearing if others are DP, DP tearing if others are DVI).

Well, the only thing I can thing is that the passive adapter (DVI) is fucking with the active (VGA) adapters.

Edit: So I tried running D3DOverrider, and man oh man. I think I solved the problem. I'm not seeing any kind of tearing now.
