eVGA Trade Up Program

most everyone who gets the evga knows about it.. i would be suprised if it was wideley used since it is only valid 90days after the purchase date..

its not something you can use for the next gen of cards that do come out..

its more for those that buy a video card and realize they wanted something more to begin with..

Ok thanks a lot, just checking my options before I buy.

I used it actually, to trade a vanilla 6800 for a 6800 Ultra. This was when you just could not get a 6800U or an x800 at all, but I needed a card for my rig desperately. Worked as advertised.

I have used the program on 3 occasions and it works flawlessly. Most recently , I paid for two 6600GTs PCIE cards becuase the Ultras were not available at the time. I then got exactly what I paid for them toward the Ultras once they became avaialbe. It was like renting the cards for free.

I used it to go from a 6800GT -> 6800U. This was when it was very hard to get an Ultra. Worked great.

I was fortunate enough to win their drawing a while back to buy a 6800 Ultra Extreme. ;)
