    Only 12 RAM slots instead of the full 16? Come on EVGA!

    It's somewhat less exciting than the SR-2 since SB EP doesn't have a fully unlocked BCLK :(
    Though EVGA might have found a way around that.

    Apparently it's so owners of the SR-2 can swap the ram straight over from the dual triple channel board. Because people who buy dual socket motherboards and dual CPUs are always looking to save a few dollars on ram...:D

    Yep. I am willing to spent $600 on a MB and $1200 for CPUs, but I will only pay less than a $100 for 24GB of RAM :D
