Just brought an i7 920 online. Currently working on making it stable but 4.0Ghz looks pretty good so far.

Well the box was running fine folding at 4Ghz, until the PSU let go. I could REALLY REALLY use another ~decent PSU right now!
 
Nice, and roughly 13 mil more than them in the last 24 hours!

Now this going out to the older folders here, I've only been on board a bit over 4, maybe near 5 years counting my anon folding, but who hear knows about how much time we've spent in first or battling for first, since the start lol. Just curious and a little team history is always a bonus!
 
So, how come the EOC stats and the [H] stats are so different sometimes? Aren't they created from the exact same data on the same intervals?

Different timings,All the data is pulled from the same stats, just at different times of the day. IIRC [H]folding is about an hour behind EOC

I'm coming up on my 7 year anniversary in May! Man that's been a long time. Back then there was only uniprocessor clients and the special work units(can't remember the name of them) that ran on P4's were crazy good if you had a fast P4. I remember running it on the dell sff box and the 60mm fans spinning like they were going to take off any second. But the overclocked athlon XP-M's were king too, 2.5+ghz of folding power was alot back then :)

those days we were back and forth with OCAU for a long time. there were even special pages dedicated to our stats vs their stats. I'm sure those aren't useful anymore, OCAU hasn't been able to continue the fight and we were unopposed for a year or 2 before evga came about.
 
Must have been right before i got here then.

Funny you mention the Athlon M's, had mine at 2.5, just got rid of it a few weeks ago, thing was a beast back in the day lol, o the good days!

I ran those crazy fast on my 560J..... 900PPD... no one would believe me when I said I had a single chip that would do 900PPD....now look.

evga gives out credit for people who fold a certain number of points each month. If you look at evga's stats, every 3-5 weeks there's a reasonably-sized spike in their production, from all the people whose machines would otherwise be offline, going online to get the reward. Obviously the money can only be used in their online store.

i don't know if you will see much of a spike this month.. look through their weekly stats the "spike" seems to be getting less and less with each month.. feb. there was a 30 million mount spike, march 20 million and april there wasn't really a spike at all compared to their average points the month before.
 
last i knew it was ~5-10 EVGA Bucks for ~250k points, but i havent looked at it for a long while.
 
I see, that would take quite some time to earn something for most people then. Then again at 1m ppd you could roll stuff in pretty fast heh
 
No it"s one coupon a month..... no matter speed.

So you only get 5 or 10 a month at 1MPPD you would get there on a day. That is why they get a bump that dies off. As people earn there coupon, they shut their rigs off.

Not really. The max is $10/month which is why their production drops back off a week or two into the month.
 
I just glad to see we haven't had anyone give up with the new units in the wild. It's still a blood bath to get top 20 lol, just barely made it on this update with 445,912ppd, that'll last one update maybe lol

Keep up the fight brothers and sisters (where's Elle btw?)
 
Hopefully that deficit will just keep dropping!

Getting my laptop re-installed right now, gonna try GPU and CPU units tomorrow, not sure which will produce more at less strain on the lappy
