Looking for a card for a second machine. This machine will only play Blizzard games and Dota 2 for the most part.

Dota 2
Diablo 3
Heroes of the Storm
StarCraft II
etc.

Any thoughts on the performance of this card? The price sure does seem right, and without needing a power source it would go great with the itx build I am using.

Any other suggestions for a little more cash that would be better for these games?

For the price and considering it doesn't require external power, it's a good card. It should run those games on medium to high at 1080 just fine.

Would a 270X be worth an Extra $50?

Would have to have power but it seems that unless you need a card that does not require external power then the 750 ti is poor value?

I have that exact 750Ti, its in my htpc and have been very pleased with its performance.
A 270x would be a step up in pure power. If you can handle the extra watts (and possibly size) it would be worth it.

Just don't make the mistake I recently did. I bought, what I thought to be a decent APU, then dropped in a r9-270 only to find out its being bottlenecked like crazy by the apu.

Wait hang-on: The regular R9 270 costs $140 right now, only $1 more than the eVGA card you linked:

That's an extremely good deal IMO.

Pretty much this. In terms of price to performance, the 750Ti is not a good choice. Power usage has to be the top key factor for the 750 Ti to be a viable choice.

That's what I always tell others if they're considering APUs: APUs are fine if you're never going to upgrade the GPU. If you are, then they're a horrible choice for the money.

I had a 750 Ti FTW edition (had a extra 6pin power connector) and for what its worth, I loved that card. Overclocked like crazy and just plain stable. Only sold it to my friend last month because I went with a 970.
