Escape from Duckov - isometric PvE extraction

I saw this because it made it to the Steam front-page over the weekend. I thought it was another meme game, but after reading the Overwhelmingly Positive reviews it seems legit.

More of a twin stick shooter with an extraction theme. The comparison to Zero Sievert is fair.

Game is a ton of fun and mods are blowing up big time.

They've already made a co-op mod that seems to work pretty good. Can easily sink 50+ hours into this game if you want to beat it all.

Bought it at 6pm and 4.5 hours went by in no time.

Worth the $15 easily.

Game has definitely blown up on steam

I feel like gained popularity purely because of the name.

It looks decent but there are a ton of Indy games similar to this with similar quality that basically no one has ever heard about.

40% of Steam games don't even make their $100 posting fee back. The majority of games on Steam make less than $1000, and there are well over 10,000 games released on Steam every year.


It's not slop though and it seems people actually like it so good for the devs.

Not really...what other PvE solo extraction games are there? Not a whole lot, though more seem to be showing up.

Anyway, I've been playing this quite a bit. It's a bit overwhelming with the amount of items and stuff to keep track of, but there are some good QoL mods being released.
