This is an odd one...
Lately I've been having increasing issues with black screens at bootup where the computer just hangs, doesn't even get to the bios screen and there isn't even any power over the usb ports.
I ran the windows 7 start-up repair and it suggested I removed USB devices, I did and all is well (removed the eSATA connection too). So I added back stuff, and low and behold the eSATA drive is causing the issue. Any ideas on why this is? It isn't even listed as a boot drive in the BIOS.
