Most times if you set auto, BIOS should detect it right. I personally never had a mobo that didn't. What proc are you using btw? check on intel or amd website if that's really the right default vcore.

To really see if its your psu, run speedfan or other monitoring prog and see how flat your voltage lines are when the system is under load.

Im on default right now so i guess there's nothing to worry?
PSU voltage is almost flat. The jump goes from 1.488V to 1.504V most of the time.
