Error with Cat 5.7

So I just set up my new computer and installed the Cat 5.7 drivers(fresh nothig there nefore that) and now when the ocmputer starts up I get this error.

I click ok, and it pops up again then I hit ok. And its fine unless I try to open Cat control center then I get it.

DriverCleaner, then install 5.7 Classic. CCC sucks ass.

This may seem obviosu but have you installed the MS .NET Framework 1.1?

Download it in windows update. It's a simple mistake although it does tell you on the driver webpage.

i have all my windows updates tho, but when I searched and it told me how to check to see if I alread have it, I dont see it. And I have all the windows updates so how do I get it?

edit: Found it you have to go to custimized setup for windows update.
So once I got that reintalled will I be good or will I have to run driver cleaner and reinstall dirvers?

just FYI for other people stumbling on this thread.

The error seen in post #1 is caused by a missing Microsoft runtime enviroment called the Microsoft .NET Framework and can be downloaded here manually:

Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package

Yeah I was confused because I thought the .net would get downloaded with my other updates but I had to end up using the custom update one to search for it.
