How do you make your keynote different from every other keynote at CES? How about using your body to transmit digital content from your phone to a display?

Telecom equipment maker Ericsson is showing off technology at the Consumer Electronics Show here this week that allows your body to act as a connection between devices transmitting bits from a smartphone or other mobile device to a receiver such as a TV or stereo system. The company has a demonstration set up at its booth here.

in 15 years all of those people will have parkinsons or cancer lol
 
Makes sense to me. The body is a great conductor and antenna. I used to have a walkman that I modded to used me as an antenna by combining the antenna wire with an antistatic wrist strap. Clearest radio I ever had and it didn't even give me a little bit of cancer. I'm betting this does something similar except they will be feeding your body the signal instead of letting it pick it up from the airwaves.
 
Pretty sure there will soon be Monster branded gloves which will improve the quality of the touch-transmission by 300%
 
You don't want excess current going through your body, but an extremely low power high freq signal would pass through without much problem I'd imagine...

I wonder if he was able to "watch" the movie neurologically without looking at the monitor during the data transfer.
