The new AH-IPS LG panels with GB-r LED (edge-emitting) backlight seemed to fit in but Eizo informed me that the panel doesn't come from LG. Therefore the actual blu is pure speculation but it wouldn't surprise me if it is a comparable solution. Energy consumption and color gamut are at least some indicators.....and RGB-LED....

same here, I been using the original NEC 2490Wuxi since 2009.
nothing I tried compares to it yet in terms of colors and viewing angles.
