Quick heads up before they're all gone....only $13.50 each + S/H, buy more and save on shipping costs. Shipping ought to be around $12 for one and $15 for two.

And here's an simple/inexpensive 20hz HT sub project using the EHQS12: http://www.icixsound.com/vb/showthread.php?t=39744

whats the draw in spending a bunch of man hours building a box, and then buying a really cheap driver?

Depends on what you mean by a "really cheap driver". It may not be made by soundsplinter or mach5audio but supposedly these things are better than their price implies. I doubt they are giantkillers but they were supposedly factory overruns for some OEM, and now ED is just trying to get rid of the excess. They weren't able to sell them fast enough at $50, nor at $25, but i bet they'll sell out quick at $13. They could always be used in a multi-driver project where costs often go through the roof.

Those who really need them or want them will realize the value, for others they're nothing but a waste of money of course ;)

great deal.. gonna build 4 sets as christmas gifts now. :)

Nice, very generous of ya. Hopefully none of em end up in the closet :D

Ordered a few for a co-worker and myself. Was thinking about building a pair of sonosubs with them, and covering them with some nice veneer i got off ebay. I may go a different route though since i don't want them to end up looking like tree trunks :p
