Earbuds?

I've always been put off by earbuds. They're small. They're tinny. I've always loved the idea of foldable headphones. One pair I had, though, was a pair of earbuds with plastic between them. I was young. I didn't know the difference. Now I have an closed-ear, Sony, that folds, yet not really to anything THAT small, hampering their portability. Now, I know I've heard you guys mentioning Seinheisner earbuds before. So, I ask you now: are they worth it? I'm going to purchase a Zen Touch soon, and I want something to go with them that's worthy of the 320KBps MP3s it'll be holding. Not as worthy as my Ultras, obviously, but close nonetheless. Now if you guys have a pair of headphones that folds up really small as an alternative, or clip-ons or something else, I'm open to that too. But I don't really know which are good, which are bad, and am grateful for any advice you may have.

I have the Sennheiser MX400 earbuds and I got them for $25 canadian.

They arn't as "tinny" as I expected although they don't produce the deep bass you might be looking for. I don't mind them. They are quite efficent and can be easily be driven to adequate volume.

I had a pair of Panasonic Shockwave headphones that folded and sounded decent but i'm sure they don't fold enough for your tates.

What's your budget? Etymotic and Shure make "earbuds" that offer superb sound and isolation. They are in-ear devices that are roughly a cross between earbuds and earplugs. Etymotic 'phones start at ~$90 and Shure start at ~$70. It goes up from there.

Senn PX100s fold to about the size of a pair of sunglasses. They come with a case too.
