Earbuds with sturdy connector?

I wear earbuds for exercising and listening to podcasts (where sound quality isn't really important), but I am finding the mini-TRS connectors break within 3-6months every time. One of the speakers always stops working.

It's pretty easy to fix or buy a new set, but if possible I'd prefer to find some earbuds with some longevity. I've had my Sennheiser HD280s for many years and no such problems (they just aren't very practical for exercising or walking around with). Are there some earbuds that have similarly sturdy connectors?

They all seem to have mini-TRS connectors like this with no rubber molding to prevent cable breaks

Look into the Shure SE215's. They sound great for the price, and provide isolation... So you can care about the sound you hear.

Sure ear bud feature a cable that detaches from the ear bud itself, and is replaceable.

They do not come loose easily, either.
