E6600 VS. Q6600

Yes, I have noticed this. What's the difference between a Q6600 G0 and a Q6600?

Right now for gaming I'd say the E6600 is fine. The Q6600 is a lot more CPU though and once the fall lineup of newer games hits that can take advantage of a quad core, it will be the better choice. If you are upgrading now and deciding between the two, I'd say go with the Quad. Be prepared to invest in a much better heatsink/fan or water cooling though. Stock cooling on the Quad really bites.
The G0 stepping of the Q6600 runs a bit cooler and seems to overclock a little better as a result. (Mine is running great @ 3.6Ghz, a 50% overclock.)

Right now most people are telling me the Q6600 would be better, because there is more cache.

I am looking to purchase a new system soon... and starting looking at the processors on newegg. But I was wondering why is the E6750 that has 1333 FSB only $204.00 but the E6600 only has 1066 FSB and is $229.00? Also it looks like a lot more people have bought the E6600.
People tell me that the E6600 is better for gaming, not sure if this is correct it's just what I've heard.
Plus, Newegg plays pricing games (i.e. rips customers off). If an item is popular, they will jack up the prices trying to gouge you for more money.
Shop around on CPUs, MBs, etc. There are a lot of places out there that have better prices and don't play those games.

Typically an E6600 will overclock easier/higher than the Q6600 - so with the games out right now, that's generally the accepted position. Won't hold up though once Crysis and a few other anticipated games hit this fall/winter that are capable of harnessing all the cores a quad brings to the table. If you are buying now - I'd get the Q6600.
On Newegg:
E6600 (OEM) sells for $197
Q6600 (OEM) sells for $259
So for the CPU, only a difference of $62. (Also, buy an OEM chip and invest in a good aftermarket heatsink/fan - the stock coolers pretty much suck)

Even better reason to buy the OEM chip and avoid paying for the crappy stock cooling setup.
Go boxed to get the three year warranty. OEM chips have almost none.

It may not gain you anything extra to go quad right away, but it is the better long term play.

Q6600 = TWO E6600 put together ... why do you guys even need to think twice if you're buying a new system?! Considering the price difference is marginal.

Its odd to look at the pricing right now, the Quad version cost same as when I got my E6600 back when it came out. Was really tempted to go quad and sell mine but it's not worth the money cost for me atm. I would definitely got quad core, don't even think about it.
Where do you have proof of that? I just bought the Q6600 from them for $289.99. That price is fairly consistant everywhere, if not cheaper. I'm lucky, I got a G0 Stepping. If I had gotten a B3, I would of accepted it. I don't plan to overclock, so it would of been OK.
As for them having B3's vs G0's, Newegg sells what is delivered to them from their supplier chain. I'm sure they've requested the G0's, but get delivered a mixed assortment of both. What is Intel suppose to do on their end, with all the B3's they have manufactured, throw them out? They've got to get rid of them too. The B3's are still fully fuctional cpu's, that just happen to run a little hotter than the G0's, making them not as overclockable, though they still seem to do pretty good.
As for Zipzoomfly and Mwave, I've done business w/them, and have had problems w/both of them, while w/Newegg, I've never had any, and I've been doing business w/them for years.
