have a question,is the e6600 easier to oc than thee6700 or is it just me not matter what i doi can only get stable with e6700 at 3.20 ghz,i know i did better with e6600

After 3.2Ghz or so the stepping/week/cooling is your major issue. It might just be the limit of the chip.

that's it can't get past 3.25,bought this chip as i thought it would od better than e6600
got e6600 to 3.35 but that was many intel bios updates ago

Some foks find the lower x9 multiplyer with the 6600 to be more usefull than the x10 multi with the 6700. This is one of the points of the "why spend the extra money on the 6700" argument.

3.2 is not a bad OC, but you should post more data to help someone who might have a solution.
