I have a radeon 5670 with outputs for DVI, HDMI, DP
I want to run it 15 feet over DVI to a monitor which only accepts a VGA or BNC signal.
I did not want to buy a long vga cable since its a legacy format so I purchased a beefy 15 food DVI cord from monoprice.com.
I cannot get this to work I have a DVI-Cable -> DVI>VGA adapter -> monitor setup.
I have tried swapping dvi cables with a shorter one and it still does not work. I have succefully used the long DVI cable directly to a monitor which supports DVI input.
Is it not possible to convert DVI to vga? Or is there a setting or something I need to enable.
