So I have been using ConvertXtoDVD to make DVDs from video files for clients. It runs okay but is slow and doesn't take advantage of the power available to it. If I run the video processing on the CPU, it hovers around only 50% CPU usage with the software set to use all four cores. If I set it to use the GPU for video conversion, it only speeds up by about 10 frames per second with GPU usage at around 1%. There seems to be little to no discussion on the software forum concerning this so it doesn't seem like something they feel like addressing.
Can anyone suggest another solution for me? I'm looking for something that can make better use of my hardware while delivering excellent video quality. I'm not adverse to a two piece solution if it suits my needs. Cost is only a minor issue as it will end up being a tax deduction for my business.
