Ducky Shine UK layout?

Hi guys. Anyone know if there's an ISO layout for the Ducky Shine? I'm in the UK and have only found one place that sells the range of Ducky Shine, but with US layout.
I also found an ebay vendor who sells new Ducky Shines from china to worldwide, but I'm assuming it'll be US layout too.

I could buy a Qpad MK 80 over here with UK layout but I don't think the backlight is very even from what I've seen, and I believe the Ducky Shine has very uniform backlighting
and is generally better built, ie, more on par with filco quality? I'm limiting myself to these two keyboards because I want MX cherry blue and backlit. I don't want the BW.

Also, I notice many of the mechanical keyboards have no palmrest. (Qpad does have one).
I'm wondering if I would find it uncomfortable without one? How do you find it, did some of you go from palmrest to no palmrest and notice much difference?
Hmm, but then as I don't do 'proper' touch typing I'm not sure if I would really miss it or not. As I type this I notice that my hands are mostly not touching my lycosa
palmrest and are perched over the keys. But occassionally they do sit lightly on the palmrest, even if I'm not typing, and it's comfortable.

Doesn't matter if it's US layout, it will default to being UK layout based on the OS. The keyboard I use is UK layout, but I use it with US layout. You just get used to where the buttons are, as the only real differences are:

# is where the Pound symbol key is, # is on the tilde key, which is swapped with the actual tilde key for US layouts (below esc).
@ and " are swapped
You can type the Euro symbol with Alt Gr+4

Your muscle memory will overwrite anything really. But if you like just re etch with something or repaint the keys somehow.

If you're a creature of habit then you'll be fine - you'll still automatically hit Shift+2 to get your quote marks, even though the 2 key has the @ symbol on it. The only other annoyance would be if you use a US layout with your OS in UK layout then you'll need to get used to the Alt-92 combo for getting your backslash.

I'm actually so used to doing this now (because nearly all of our initial samples of keyboards are sent to us in US layout) that it doesn't bother me but YMMV.

The only thing I really don't like on the US keyboard layout is the small Enter key. But if you can live with that then there's not much difference really.

Thanks guys. I'm still considering the ducky shine. And I agree about the small enter key. Not something I'm thrilled about but I guess I can get used to it. Has anyone here from the UK bought a keyboard from another country via ebay and did you get it delivered without import duty and VAT to pay, ie, are customs and excise likely to make me pay those things or do you think I'll be ok? Otherwise, the ducky is only £117 including postage from china.

Depends if the seller marks the item as a gift or a commercial purchase. Gifts don't incur import taxes and the seller will usually indicate if they are willing to do this (it's kind of illegal though...) If you are hit with import taxes it will get very expensive.

With US layout you get one less key, something that makes impractical using other languages.

You can always use US International, but some letters or symbols are very inusable in that layout.

Will the Fn key to operate the back light still work if i use my OS to swich the keyboard to UK layout. On a UK board there is a right click key were the Ducky Shine has the Fn key and i dont want to losse the Fn function.

Should do - Fn keys on keyboards are usually locked to that function in firmware and changing the keyboard layout in Windows won't affect them.
