Alright... So I have two 1.7ghz 12core g34 es chips
I found with them 4x4gb ecc and reg ram...
I have been tempted to grab a 2p g34board off newegg and see how those guys overclock...
Currently I found a proto that could take them and have been folding on them... so I know they are stable...
as far as $$/ppd goes... not having to fork out for the cpus and ram is rather a nice headstart... I even have 3 146k 15ksas drives at home I got on ebay on a project that didn't work out... lol...
Still 2p g34 boards are rather expensive for not knowing if your gonna get more than stock...
Is there a way to figure out if the es chips are unlocked?
would it be a better idea to split them up and spend $230 on a 1p board...
I could split the ppd and power bill with another teamate lol...
