Dual Rads with 800D?

Has anybody experimented with a dual rads on the 800D? I'll probably be picking this case up and want to run dual loop but haven't considered where I'm going to stick the second rad. I figure I'll just use the two WC holes on the back of the case and plant a rad back there, but if anyone has a more subtle and discreet trick they're using I'd be really interested! :D

good question.I am currently trying to mod my Haf X for a 480 and 360 radiators for my cooling.I think i got it so I think it is possible.

Yes, just go into the case modding section and search up 800D. Or Google 800D watercooling.

You can put a 360 and 120 in there with zero modding, a 360 / 120 / 240 with basic modding, or two 360's with some large scale bottom case hacking.

I put 2 in my 700D

1 3x140 in the top and 2x140 in the middle... both major modifications :p

I will be going with 2 3x140 rads in my upcoming build :D

A 240 fits in the bottom by removing the hard drive cage (a few rivets) and cutting two holes in the bottom for airflow. You'll need to craft a support for the middle partition, which I used a piece of black pipe cut to length.

Going through the same motions on my 800D. You can stick a 1x120 on the back(internally) and possibly another one under the horizontal 140mm on the very bottom(going to take some clever plumbing on that one, its a PITA with 1/2"ID tubing.

The case is so nice i have second thoughts about modding that bottom HDD bay or mounting externally, but its the only way you can get a multiple rad into that beast. A 2x120 or 3x120 externally out the back is going to be the only bolt on solution for multiple, multiple rads.

Oh, you can even do a 1/2/3x140 out the back if you want, go nuts!

If you have enough room for an 800D, mounting an external rear rad isn't that much of an issue. I like lots of internal space - makes everything far easier to work on. (My last watercooled system was all crammed into an Antec 182, which was a real pain and a lot of hassle whenever it came to upgrades.) While having everything mounted internally may please the esthetic sensibilities of some, I say F-it. More hassle than it is worth, and radiators will always cool better outside of the case where they can breath. My 800D setup:

I use the HDD cages - I have the case completely filled... (all 10 SATA ports filled).

So the max is a 4x120 at the top (or 3x140, both require some cutting), and a 1x120 out the back (H50 style).

That's 5x120 total, which is plenty for CPU + 1-2 GPUs, heavily overclocked and overvolted.

Edit: Then of course there's that approach above, which I wouldn't mind because I'll be moving my PC to the next room soon anyway (no need to worry about fitting it underneath my desk). Still, I think I'll stick with an internal setup...

Wow a little overkill for cooling a GPU and CPU. But nice non the less. Did you have to cut your case open on the top for that 4th 12cm fan slot?

Actually cooling two GPUs and a CPU. I like overkill - figure it'll solve all my water cooling needs for the foreseeable future should I start upgrading again. Yes, had to cut to make room for the 4th fan up top, but it is nice and clean as long as a quad radiator is mounted there, or a grill cover.

I have 2 rx360 rads in my 700d case 1 in the top and one in the bottom. Does limit you to a 160mm power supply unit though but I love it. You cant hear my system running at all.

I will be doing the same thing sometime soon, except with dual MCR320s. I keep my fans under 800RPM, so the extra rad offsets the low fan speed in terms of cooling performance.
