I just built up a new rig and am trying to decide on my GPU. I remember this use to be so much easier but times change. I was thinking about running a ATI but decided not to (personal preference).
I guess I'm trying to figure out if I will get better performance running SLI or single card. I'm trying to keep this within the $300 range but it's hard figuring out what would be my best option.
My rig is as follows, i5 2K, MoBo MSI P67A-GD65, 8Gig 1600, 750W-PSU, Monitor will do 2048x1536. My Vid card is a BFG GTS250. System runs ok but I want to see games like BF3 run 1920x1080 with decent frame rates, I'm not looking for a bleeding edge Vid card or one that will break the bank.
Please give me your opinions for dual or single card.
