Is there any motherboard out that lets you run Dual Core 2 Duo ?

I want to know how 2x Core 2 Duo E6600 would do?

Duo Core != Dual Core

Dual Core requires a board that has 2 sockets.

No - you would need to go to Xeon (aka different socket)

Geez thats funny, since both Intel and AMD call their Double Core processors "Dual Core"....
