DS3 bios reset at boot problem

I have a GA-965P-DS3 rev 2.0 motherboard, and have overclocked it to both 400x8 and 356x9. Currently, I'm running 356x9, and the system runs rock solid, sometimes for days on end, until I try a warm reboot (such as restart for software update changes). When the system reboots, it seems to choke on something, makes a change in bios and tries to boot a second time, then it just hangs there until I manually reset it. I then have to open the case and short the bios reset jumper and reboot. I then enter bios, restore the 356x9 settings and save/reboot. Most of the time this works right away, but sometimes it doesn't take on the first try and I have to go through it all again and short the jumper. I'm running Vcore 1.2750v, memory +0.3v, and everything else set to Normal. System idles around 35C. System specs are below:

GA-965P-DS3
E6600 with Scythe Ninja Rev.B
Thermaltake CL-C0034 NB cooler
4GB Corsair 6400-C4, manually set to 4-4-4-12 +0.3V
150GB WD Raptor main drive
400GB Seagate 7200.10 data drive
160GB WD1600JS backup drive
NVidia QuadroFX 3500
Ultra XVS 700W
Antec Sonata II case

Short of writing down all my bios settings, is there a way to retrieve them in WinXP to post here? I've got a few things enabled like DOS usb keyboard and mouse but disabled EIST, C1E, virtualization, smart fan control, and other typically disabled settings. This seemed to happen more often at 400x9, and when the case is closed (side latched shut) -- I thought it was the SATA cables getting pinched by the case door so I swapped them all out for right-angle cables but it still happens. I'd suspect temperature but it does happen sometimes when the case is opened and the CPU is running reasonable temps now. Any ideas?

What BIOS version are you running? Also your vcore setting is very low, this board has about .02v droop....
 
thats the cold boot issue everyone had with rev 1.0. My rev 3.3 is fine, but my 1.0 did that. Try bumping FSB and VMCH +.1

I agree extreamly low Vcore. That should be a killer OC chip if thats the Vid that was factory set. try 1.325 Intel Vcore absolute maximum is 1.55 so the increase to 1.325

Sorry I forgot to post it, Bios version F10. Hmm, I'll try bumping the vcore up a bit. When I had increased it to 1.35v while initially oc'ing the setup it seemed like it just made the CPU run unnecessarily hot. BUT, I think the AS5 has cured now because idle temps are much lower than they used to be, so maybe it won't matter (34C after idling for a few hours with the case closed). I'll also try bumping up those other voltages. Hopefully that will fix the problem. I don't mind if it happens once in a long while, but five or six times in a row gets pretty annoying. I *almost* decided to put in a momentary pushbutton switch for that cmos reset jumper so I wouldn't have to keep opening up the darn case...
 
Oh, another thing I forgot to post is I'm running the 2.5 memory divider, so at 356fsb the memory operates at 890. (reading the overclocking guide from link above -- thanks!)

According to BIOS the stock Vcore is 1.2350v for my chip, don't know if that's accurate or not, but I guess that's where bios runs the chip without manual voltage settings.
 
Had the same problem with F10. Total pile of rubbish. Using F7 currently and no cold boot issues.
 
Actually, still running the 1.2750 vcore and did +0.1v mch, fsb and the other one and haven't had the problem since...keeping my fingers crossed!
