DRM!! RIAA!! Vista!!

[Godofdestrcution]

Now that I have everyone's attention p ), what is the better thing to get, headphones, or earbuds?

I'm torn between Shure E4cs and Sennheiser hd585s...

[phide]

Headphones.

[MoxMonkey]

depends...

home rig vs portable

isolation vs open cans

[0V3RC10CK3D]

headphones have much better audio reproduction.

[5_against_1]

I own a pair of HD595... and I would never go back!

[tuskenraider]

Since you made me look, headphones. Choice it too personal to tell you which pair to get.

[EcchiZen]

Get both.
Headphones - for home use
Earbuds - for portable use

Install vista, your sound card probally wont be supported and the question becomes moot.

[Mister X]

I think it all depends on if you like bass or not.
The Shures don't even come close to the HD485s in bass but they do just about everythin g else better.

title made me think of "Shire! Baggins!"
